Clinical Manager Perioperative Services

This position is accountable for providing leadership of clinical care, supervision and coordination of all aspects of client care. This position constantly monitors and coordinates patient flow and clinical operations in an effort to minimize disruption in service and to improve care within their department. This position is accountable for assisting the director with the coordination of patient care activities, services, staff development, and maintaining department accountability. Additional functions when acting as Charge Nurse: Make patient care assignments based on the skill, experience, & temperament of nursing personnel & on acuity of patients, ensuring patient, staff safety, assist in the evaluation of performance & skills of Agency/Temporary staff & regular OR staff. Responsibly directs & precepts staff members as needed/assigned in all aspects of OR care management. Point of Care Testing, including collection, testing and reporting as it relates to job position.
- Requires college degrees as required by licensure.
- Current AZ RN License
- Minimum 2 years experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting
- Charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
