About Mountain Vista Medical Center

Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 178-bed, state-of-the-art hospital located in east Mesa, Arizona, offering comprehensive health care services, including emergency care, heart care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedics, breast care, maternity care, and women’s services. Florence Hospital, a campus of Mountain View Medical Center, is a 36-bed hospital offering emergency care, as well as surgical, imaging and laboratory services to residents of Pinal County. Our patients have access to a full range of excellent health care across our two campuses.

Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and the OR Coordinator, provides professional care to the patient. The CV Surgical tech assists the Cardio Thoracic and Vascular surgeon in the performance of complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including Open cases, CABG, Valves, AVR, MVR Thoracic procedures, Thoracotomy, Thoracoscopy, Lobectomy, Wedge resection, VATS, Vascular, Carotid, AAA, Endo AAA. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. Assists as needed within scope of practice CV surgical technologist.

Requirments:

- High School/GED diploma

-Graduation from a Surgical Tech Program

- Certified as a Surgical Technologist required

- BLS certificate required

- Proficient in Endo Vascular cases, Thoracic cases and all Cardiac and Vascular cases

- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, additional languages preferred

- Basic computer knowledge.
