Florence Hospital, a campus of Mountain View Medical Center, is a 36-bed hospital offering emergency care, as well as surgical, imaging and laboratory services to residents of Pinal County. Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist provides general support to the Department in one or more areas of human resources. Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of all aspects of the human resources information system. Handles general inquiries from employees and customers of department.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a Major in Human Resources preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in providing support within Human Resources
  • Computer and software skills preferred

Work Activities

  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
  • Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
  • Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.
  • Maintain and update human resources documents.
  • Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports.
  • Schedule or administer skill, intelligence, psychological, or drug tests for current or prospective employees.
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
  • Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
  • Performing Administrative Activities — Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
  • Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships — Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
