About Mountain Vista Medical Center
Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 178-bed, state-of-the-art hospital located in east Mesa, Arizona, offering comprehensive health care services, including emergency care, heart care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedics, breast care, maternity care, and women’s services.
Position Summary: Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including X-Ray, MRI and CT procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities and other activities or duties as assigned by the Director of Imaging. Coordinates with other departments the day-to-day activity for MRI/CT/X-Ray safety and procedures.
Requirements:
- Registered as an RT (R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT certfication in X-ray required.
- BLS
- 1-2 years experience in MRI, CT and X-ray.
- Staff will be required to float between MRI, CT, and X-Ray.
- Proficiency with most major MRI/CT/X-ray equipment, hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Philips).
Preferred:
- ARRT certification in MRI/CT required or must be obtained within 1 year of employment as MRI/CT Tech.
- AZ CRT/CTCT certification granted by MRTBE.
