Position Summary: Responsible for the administration of treatment of patients in accordance with the plan of care as established by the supervising OT, state and national organizational standards, regulatory agencies, and established departmental policies and procedures in both acute care and outpatient settings as well as provide supervision for ancillary staff including therapy technician and/or student.

Minimum Education: Associate's Degree; Graduate of approved school of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Minimum Experience: New graduates accepted

PREFERRED REQUIRMENTS: 3+ years of experience

Required License/certification: Current AZ license, BLS certification, Annual stroke education of four (4) - eight (8) hours, as assigned

Required SKILL SET: Knowledge of physical medicine, occupational therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology; Ability to provide treatment for variety of medical conditions in both acute care and outpatient setting; Basic computer skills; Ability to adapt to change and manage time efficiently. Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to exercise independent judgment in the completion of assignments and duties. Ability to speak and write English language fluently.
