Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 178-bed, state-of-the-art hospital located in east Mesa, Arizona, offering comprehensive health care services, including emergency care, heart care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedics, breast care, maternity care, and women’s services. Florence Hospital, a campus of Mountain View Medical Center, is a 36-bed hospital offering emergency care, as well as surgical, imaging and laboratory services to residents of Pinal County. Our patients have access to a full range of excellent health care across our two campuses.

Position Summary:

Position is responsible for direct and indirect nursing care and performs general nursing duties as defined by the Nursing Practice Act. Position requires on-call assignments, variable work schedule that may include weekends and holidays.Basic computer skills; Ability to adapt to change and manage time. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to exercise independent judgment in the completion of assignments and duties. Ability to speak and write English language fluently. Ability to identify changes to patients condition. Ability to provide education to patients and family members. Organizational skills. Works closely with radiologists, physicians and key personnel to provide excellent care.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education:

Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Minimum Experience:

2-4 years Critical Care experience

Required License/certification:

Arizona RN License in good standing

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Previous Diagnostic Imaging experience.

Required SKILL SET:

Basic computer skills;

Ability to adapt to change and manage time. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to exercise independent judgment in the completion of assignments and duties. Ability to speak and write English language fluently. Ability to perform general and critical nursing duties;

Demonstrated ability in placing vascular access devices. Demonstrate proficiency in IV Starts;

Ability to identify changes to patient's condition;

Ability to provide education/mentoring staff members; Adaptability to change, organizational skills;

Communicates effectively and timely with physicians/director/imaging services leadership/charge nurse/co-workers Works closely with radiologist’s and key personnel to provide diagnostic exams/procedures;

Ability to function independently and possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
