RN Travel/IR-Radiology/FT/Temporary, 700-=1730
Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psycholosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the interventional imaging environment. Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the interventional imaging team are met. Monitors, positions, and assists patient during procedure. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
This is a temporary position.
Current Arizona Registered Nurse Licensure. (in good standing) PICC certified.
Minimum of one-year experience in critical care. Min 1 year IR exp.
Ability to read and communicate effective in English.
Additional languages preferred.
Basic computer knowledge.
Proficient in interpreting EKG and homodynamic pressure tracings.
Operated different equipment: x-ray table, ultrasound machine, and pressure injectors.
Works closely with radiologist’s and key personnel to provide diagnostic exams/procedures; Ability to function
independently and possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
