Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 178-bed, state-of-the-art hospital located in east Mesa, Arizona, offering comprehensive health care services, including emergency care, heart care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedics, breast care, maternity care, and women’s services.
The Director of Cardiac Cath lab reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. Responsible and accountable for the direction of patient care activities within the perspective Nursing Department. Manages staff within the Cath Lab, Cardiac Ultrasound and EKG departments, provides management of operational, clinical, and nursing activities. Consults with staff, physicians and the Chief Nursing Officer on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Responsible and accountable for overall fiscal management of all resources required for the effective performance of the department. Coordinates with Director of Radiology the oversight and operation of the Interventional Radiology Department
- Licensed RN in the State of Arizona
- Associates degree in nursing
- 3+ years experience
- Masters Degree
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Leadership skills to include management of human, fiscal and capital resources.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to gather, assess and analyze data from various sources to develop quality improvement initiatives.
- Ability to adjust to schedule to meet the demands of patient care delivery and management oversight to areas of responsibility.
